I was talking to Jean the other day and we were discussing how there are so many sights in this great state we live in that we have never seen!!! We are usually at our camp on the weekends in the summer months but decided to stay home to catch up on a few things this weekend and the change was kind of nice. We decided to take a break from some chores at home, and drove to the lighthouse in Portland (stopping at Cabella's on the way in to say hello to my brother and pick up a few necessities...ha!....necessities at Cabella's).
Marleigh has started with the "cheesy" smile! Just heard her talking to Jean in the next room telling him "My birday is next....I'm going to be free year old...I'm going to get my baby for my birday!" She says things so funny...I have to type them how she says them so you get why its entertaining to listen to her. Her birthday is in a few weeks....my baby will be 3!!
While we were at Fort Williams, the cruise ship Grandeur of the Sea was leaving port so I took a few photos. The kids were blown away at the size of it! Its amazing something so big can float....like it still amazes me that they can get airplanes in the skies!!! See the tiny police escort boat in the front of it?? Our trip to Portland...short and sweet.
Happy day!!!
